Carolina was invited by Camila Pinheiro, a brazilian artist based in São Paulo, to create a collection of one-off embroidery tapestries of some of her illustrations.

This piece is based on one of Camila’s recent works and hopes to reaffirm “the issue of female and race in a soft language”, as Camila describes. “The featured woman is celebrated in the simplicity of the lines and in the strength of the colours, while the white and black share the same beautiful face of smooth lines”.
